I didn't realize the "midgees" are the little bitty Tootsie Rolls, so the bag didn't look as big online as it turned out to be. You have to eat 2 or 3 midgees at a time, so that's annoying, and the bag is so huge I started giving away sandwich bags full of them to everyone at home and at work.

Love this large sized bag of Tootsie Rolls - finally enough for all trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood!! I ordered this package for Halloween, and it arrived quickly and fit the bill perfectly for it's intended purpose.

Irritating for adults --- about three or four equals a regular-sized one ---- but THAT'S okay.

Why are these Midgees smaller than the Midgees at the store? Nov 19, 2012

Yes, the bag is big and *stuffed* with little Tootsie Rolls. I am baffled as to why these Midgees smaller than the Midgees at the store. If they're both "Tootsie Roll Midgees," why are these about one-third smaller than the grocery store bought Midgees?
The size difference negates the savings, but the quantity means a couple fewer trips to the store.
They still hit the spot when I'm craving Tootsie Rolls, but I have to eat a few more.
