Not enough Xylitol to benefit though Jan 28, 2013
Great taste, BUT if you are searching for a gum that provides the xylitol benefits, this is NOT the gum that will do it. Sorry, my dentist suggest Spry or B-Fresh gum.

Cinnamon fix Oct 19, 2009
By Cindy L. Notar
I was soooo excited to be able to purchase my all-time favorite gum again - after it was pulled from the market for a long while....for why I don't know.
The product was delivered - promptly and in great shape/quality.
I didn't mind paying a little extra for the quick customer service provided.

Great Product!! Mar 19, 2013

Trident gum in the 18 pack makes not going to the store for a pack or 2 at a time really convenient. Cinnamon gum is awesome and I recommend this to any and all gum chewers.

Just enough xylitol to charge extra... Mar 01, 2009
By J. Seidman
There are a lot of reported benefits to xylitol, but Trident is just using it as a marketing gimmick here. The ingredients list for this gum starts out like this: sorbitol, maltitol, gum base, mannitol, xylitol... That's right, xylitol is the fifth ingredient, and the fourth sugar alcohol!
If you do a little searching on the internet, you'll come across a number of doctors and dentists who have said that this gum has too little xylitol to have any practical effect. For people who don't read labels closely, this might also lead them to think that this gum is actually sweetened with xylitol (which causes fewer digestive problems than sorbitol and maltitol).
The bottom line is that they've added a few milligrams of xylitol so that they can pretend that this gum is healthier and thus charge more.
Good for habitual chewers... May 19, 2013

... not enough Xylitol to count, but keeps flavor and stays soft and chewable for long periods. I'm the sort who never stops chewing gum except to eat, some days, and this stuff will last me three-four hours a piece before becoming too tough to carry on. It stays flavorful forever.
